The Card Of The Day
By: Master Querent And Disciples

Some may wake up and swear the day is already ruined, curse the dreaded, misery that comes with mental illness, loneliness and maybe just someone, having a rough day. We all wake up on the wrong side of the bed some mornings and that’s all part of life. Not everyday this happens but it’s not all sunny days.
Although there are some, who may not have had the opportunity to wake up and encounter such a glorious day. I’m sure someone poor soul is gone today, leaving behind his love ones, his memories and his life. He move beyond the end and into a new beginning, leaving behind the past. Today, that is not my path (or I hope not anyway since I’m still quite young) but I will he focusing on something different for this blog.

This morning I had a calling for something different, other than breakfast. This morning I had a calling for mediation, while focusing on my thought process; clearing all the negativity. I then reached for my tarot deck to see what card I would reflect upon today. I enjoy using the actual Rider Waite Tarot Deck but also like using a tarot app as well.
When using the tarot deck, I like to clear the deck by using my emblem and knocking a few times (depending on my number or the other person’s number), ensuring the deck is aware of who I am and what number is represent. I then take a breath, exhaling the air over the cards and ensuring all is well with my current reelection through the tarot deck. What happens next is in the cards and reflects the current situation, day or current moment.
I was always told that clearing a tarot deck is good practice since some believe in the dark occult associated with the cards and can bring bad omens if not cleared correctly and persistently after every use. Everyone has their own ritual but I find clearing the deck and using my breath with my number, ensures the reading is mine and mine alone. Charging the cards in the full moon is another practice I use to clear the cards of energy.

Today I draw a card that is new to me but I have seen it before. The Page Of Cups looks down at his cup as a fish looks back at him. This card represents a development of psychic abilities through meditation or without any help at all. We sometimes have a key awareness of specific aspects in our daily life, that we tend to pick up on the very basics of understanding.
To some this may seem like magic, divination and psychological trauma but no; it is a card drawn and reflected upon. The person in this card though represents myself, searching for emotional satisfaction through understanding the reality in life is necessary when going too far with imagination. I have done this in the past year, leaving behind a steady job that didn’t pay half the time. Making a new move in a new direction wasn’t easy but was necessary in order to gain understanding of the world around me. It has led me to understand the ends must justify the means but the lage takes on a learning experience, much like a child starting school or embarking on a journey of knowledge.

This card makes sense to me of course, and with my further understanding of the last card, I now see why I drew it so often; now aligned with this card. Awareness is a key factor in life and if we often become delusional or unaware; we could lose sight of the potential we have and forgetting our responsibility to study the path laid out for us.
While resignation seemed like the right choice at that time, it put alot of strain on my Dad who helped me through this endeavor over the last year. I am now faced with a cup in my hand and a fish looking at me, wondering why we have to start here again. I know I don’t always make the right choices but sometimes if we don’t make a choice at all, then what would life be but a endless vortex of humanity; going around and round until we learn the lesson. Feeding a world economy that will only entropy into further systematic confusion, with men going around in circles without knowing why except, “I have to get by and move on”.

DonateSo back to the ten of pentacles; the man sits and observes but the family strives on with quite romantic (even though the couple is having a falling out in thos card) intensity. Where a child dances beside them and the dogs sit by the hidden mysterious man if observation; taking in a small amount of understanding each time. The dogs can see the hidden mystery man but no one else seems to notice him, sitting in his coat of many colors.
