Wands (Reversed)
By: Skinner J.Tyler

The image features a man who stands high above the scene he overlooks. With one wand in hand and a orb in the other, he looks onward towards the future. The other wand he keeps close by, shackled to his fort in which he stands on. There are ships in the ocean that he views and these ships are his own.
There is great potential here if used correctly and the world can be his oyster. Of course, this image of the two of wands is reversed and the original meaning is a bit twisted from its reversed meaning.

The reverse meaning of this particular card means boredom or a negative outcome after a positive initiative. It can represent fear of moving onward into the next phase of ones life. The two of wands can represent a positive attitude towards the future but once turned in reversed, the outlook becomes blurred and the querent is unable to see his future positively.

The tarot is used to make us aware of our lives, whether in a blunt outlook or a spiritual development. It can make us understand aspects of our lives and what we can do to move ahead. The cards are not meant to be taken lightly and usually make us aware rather than tell the future. These cards highlight the aspects that make up our lives through using suits and trump cards that we use through our daily lives.

These images can help us highlight specific areas of our life and allow us to understand why certain things are happening in our life. Once we begin to understand what is happening, can we then proceed forward with a plan. The cards can allow one to do this without using divination.

Our outlook on life can become upturned or out of sync, if we do not work on our goals. By taking small steps we are able to move towards our bigger goals that allow us to follow through and achieve our dreams. When the card is reversed, it represents bad planning and disorganization that stops us from proceeding forward.
We must make the proper plan before moving forward in our everyday lives. We may lose track or get off course but we need to understand what we are doing before moving ahead with action. Staying within our field of understanding can help us achieve mastery over such skills. Over time and by listening to our teachers, we can achieve new heights of obtaining our goals in life.
